Come to our Beginner Needle Felting workshop and learn how to make animals! Run over two sessions, one to make the body and limbs, the other to make the head and join up all the pieces, you will create your own bear whilst learning all the skills to make lots of different animals.
Needle felting is a process which uses barbed needles to interlock wool fibers to form a more condensed material. Wool fibers have scales which when rubbed against each other catch and lock into place to create this denser material called felt. Felting needles are used to entangle the fibers. You can make all sorts of items from needle felted fabric including 3D structures (animals, fruit etc). This hands on workshop is very theraputic and a lovely way to spend a couple of Saturday afternoons! The course runs on 4 and 11 November, 1:15 til 3:45.
